Death Dealer, Dominance & the Road to Molly Hatchet

1972

Frank received the Award of Excellence from Society of Illustrators for his artwork titled, “Downward to Earth.”

1973

Frank created his own character “Death Dealer”, when he painted his iconic “Death Dealer I”.

1975

Frank and Ellie started their Frazetta Prints poster business. Peacock Press/Bantam published five volumes of “The Fantastic Art of Frank Frazetta”. They were the first Frazetta books offered on the market.

1978

Molly Hatchet’s debut studio album featured Frank’s Death Dealer painting.
